Clermont-Ferrand, France – August 25, 2025 – Michelin Air Services is the Aviation arm of the Michelin Group, dedicated to making business travel faster, more efficient, and accessible to tens of thousands of employees across Europe. With a team of around 20 specialists, the group operates 99% in Europe, transporting nearly 7,500 passengers on 1,000 flights each year. The Air Services covers 12 regular shuttle destinations, including remote activities all over Eastern & Western Europe and more than 40 on-demand routes, enabling Michelin teams to save between 5 to 13 hours of travel time per round trip in comparison to other means of transport.
The Flight Department has a clear mission, to maximize time efficiency and simplify the travel experience for Michelin collaborators within optimum safety conditions. By offering both scheduled shuttles and customized flights for specific business needs, the service ensures optimal aircraft occupancy while avoiding costly empty legs. Beyond convenience, it represents a key lever for productivity within the Michelin group, connecting people and projects seamlessly across Europe.
‍
The Flight Department is one of the oldest and most respected in France with a fleet of three Falcon 2000. Before transitioning to Moove in 2024, Michelin Air Services relied on an aging internal tool called “MSA” under Xnet technology, developed more than a decade ago. Vincent Tourlonias, Head of Operational Flows at Michelin Air Services said:
“The system was obsolete, hard to maintain and only accessible via desktop. Booking was not accessible easily and not user-friendly for our passenger, we began to lose valuable time when our last IT developers retired, it became impossible for us to maintain such an outdated solution”
The Corporation needed a hybrid solution, powerful enough to handle its amount of yearly bookings like a large airline, but simple, flexible and designed for a small business aviation unit. Luckily, at the same time, a French startup called Moove launched a dedicated Booking & Scheduling system for such demanding operations and contacted Corine Brunet, the CEO of Michelin Air Services.

Since the start of the collaboration between Moove and Michelin, Moove has radically improved the employee experience, both on the passenger side and for the flight department crew. Passengers can now book directly from mobile, tablet or laptop, eliminating cumbersome spreadsheets and manual updates. Â
The system integrates seamlessly with Workday for the passenger profiles and Skylegs to support the crew qualifications & duties, and aircraft operations. Furthermore, it was essential for Michelin that Moove adapt itself to the Michelin security system, which the Moove team implemented seamlessly.
“Moove has delivered a clear gain of time. Tasks like passenger registrations, waitlist management and cancellations are now fully automated” explains Vincent Tourlonias.
The interface is perfectly suited for employees, the shuttle booking process has been completely transformed, passengers now handle their own booking, relieving the operational team from the burden of entering all the data.
This new evolution has already delivered concrete results, with internal passenger surveys rating the Moove application at an average satisfaction score of 8.8 out of 10, reflecting strong adoption and positive feedback across the shuttle network.
‍
Michelin Air Services has worked closely with Moove through monthly reviews since the start of the partnership in order to track bugs, anomalies and to request potential new features. The support process is described by the team as very flexible and dynamic as the software is evolving with the clients for the clients.
“Moove is already covering our main needs and has proven reliable and adaptable to our demanding standards” adds Vincent Tourlonias.
Based on Michelin’s experience and several other US Part 91 operators, the Flight Department is now preparing for the launch of the latest version of the Shuttle Module, bringing Airline-grade technology to its passengers.
When asked to describe Moove in two words and whether he would recommend Moove to other corporate flight departments, Vincent Tourlonias was clear in his reply:
“Digitalization and modernization, with major time savings and simplified processes. Moove is a game-changer for corporate aviation, it allows us to focus on the essential”
According to Vincent Tourlonias, this combination, efficiency for teams and autonomy for travelers, is what makes Moove so valuable. With seamless integration into your corporate tools it’s easier. It delivers both operational robustness and smoother user experience, setting a new standard for corporate aviation.
The app and the overall IT project have also been recognized internally as one of the top deployments within the Michelin Group, confirming the strong value of the initiative.
